Six Flags The Great Escape

Six Flags Great Escape, a household name in the history of amusement parks for over half a century, is an amusement park-cum- water park, located in Lake George. For a fun loving escapade among the waters, Six Flags Great Escape offers a huge range of choice of rides and attractions which are so breath-taking and cool.

The roller coasters at Six Flags Great Escape are of manifold attraction and their variety is aimed at suiting the varied tastes of the visitors, some being calm and gentle, while others really wacky and wild. These are spread over the park in its various sections. There is the “Alpine Bobsled”, “Comet” which is an excellent ride over the hills, the “Boomerang Coast-to-Coaster” and the “Canyon Blaster” which is a family style ride suited for gentle tastes. The most popular of attractions are the “Steamin\' Demon” which is a corkscrew roller coaster and “Nightmare” at Crack Axle Canyon. The “Road Runner Express” is especially for kids.

And when you are in 6 Flags Great Escape, the main attraction is undoubtedly the “Splashwater Kingdom”, dedicated for such water rides like “Black Cobra” (inflated boat ride), “Capt\'n Hook\'s Adventure River” and slides like “Blue Typhoon”, “Twister Falls”, “Tornado” and “Bansee Plunge”. There is also a kids’ play zone here.

And these are not all. Six Flags Great Escape also has many other surprises in store for you in several of its sections. So, besides the roller coasters, Fest Area has such attractions to recommend itself such as the Pirate Ship, Cannonball Express, Bumper Cars and Sky Coaster (to give you an experience of sky-diving and hand-gliding from a height of 165 feet).

If you prefer the Ghosttown section, there are more than the three absorbing roller coasters to draw your attention. This area gives you a taste of rides in log-like boats in the Desperado Plunge ride, and also the Marshal Mckay show where children visitors are invited to help the marshal catch bank robbers.

If you choose to spend your time in the International Village and Storytown Section, you can have a ride on the Storytown train or get to accompany Cinderalla in her pumpkin coach or follow Alice in Wonderland. You can even take a tour of a part of the Six Flags Great Escape in the Sky Ride, where you are chair-lifted for the tour. Be it entertainment, or an ideal vacation with the family, you can flock to Six Flags Great Escape which offers you a variety of options for adventure and fun.
