I live on Fairbur Road, about 20 minutes from Six Flags, and this is the worse natural disaster I have ever seen in my life. You think that something like this will never happen in your town but when it does, well, theres really no words to describe it.

thats kinda depressing to look at..

I, for one, will not be going to six flags for a while. water, wood, metal, electricity, and heights just doesn’t sound like a party want to be a part of. I may be wrong, but I just don’t see how they can deem those rides safe after this…at least not until significant repair, or even total rebuild happens.
but who knows, I don’t ride roller coasters anyway.

I was saying yes to the person asking if this was video of the Great American Scream Machine…
By montandchelle on Sep 30, 2009
this video is horriffic
By southplnk on Sep 30, 2009
ouch… That is the Scream Machine, a historic wooden coaster from the 1970′s. I hope she survives the water…
By lowlowe24 on Sep 30, 2009
Exactly.

What happens to the coasters? I’m sure all that mud has distorted them enough so as to push some of them outside of safe operating boundaries…
By 1RadicalOne on Sep 30, 2009
Try seven days straight.

They are still opening the park today…but I don’t understand how they’re going to do it. They’ve lost stores, restaraunts, vending booths, various games and attractions…and we all know that Six Flags is close to filing bankrupt already (which would explain lower prices). Mr. Keith is beung unrealistic. The rides are DAMAGED…the sidewalks beneath them could be devastated. It wouldn’t be right if innocent people were dead due to greed.

shut up its opeen you no

By disneyrocx on Sep 30, 2009

By disneyrocx on Sep 30, 2009
If that mud hardens, it will spell the end of the park…
By 1RadicalOne on Sep 30, 2009
it rained and stormed for about 48 hrs.
By americangirlfilms on Sep 30, 2009
That’s not funny, a lot of people died from this flooding. Nine, so far.
By audiogasmic on Sep 30, 2009
It’s set to rain again this weekend. . This Saturday was supposed to be “Army” day. I sure hope they will be able to open, I know a lot of people who were planning on going as a last family day out before the deployment this Fall.

By 1RadicalOne on Sep 30, 2009
Maybe they can change the name from Six Flags to SeaWorld
